Saffron Walden Physiotherapy Practice approaches every appointment with a friendly and reassuringly positive manner. Diagnosis is always thorough and treatment informed by excellent professional skills and clear communication. Advice following a treatment is always instructive – explanations of ‘why’ and ‘what’ are clear, so that I understand what I’m told and believe the rationale behind it.
I have been enabled by this approach to work independently, at home, towards greater pain relief and increased mobility. I have complete faith in the ability of staff at the practice to help me, and my experience tells me that they will. Their approach instils confidence.
I would not hesitate to recommend the practice to anyone in need of physiotherapy help. I don’t believe anyone could do better.Linda Macfarlane, Patient
Dorothy Smith has brought about a huge improvement in a number of different conditions which I have experienced over several years. She always explains what she is doing and why, and has also provided helpful advice on how to prevent conditions recurring, and to reduce the risk of future problems. I have no hesitation in recommending her Physiotherapy Clinic.LH, Patient
As a local GP I have been referring patients to Dorothy's clinic for many years.I have been delighted with the service we have received from her and her associates, and my patients have done very well indeed. I have also myself been treated in her clinic for several different problems, and have been extremely pleased with the treatment that I have received on every occasion.Dr Ridley
My wife and I have no hesitation in recommending Dorothy Smith for her attention to detail in diagnosing the cause of the problem, her thoroughness, her considerable experience and her professionalism. We have visited her over a number of years for on the one hand a long standing back and neck problem which from time to time needs relief from pain and discomfort and on the other hand to rectify self inflicted injuries to a knee and back.Cordelia and David Hill
